Art Life
Stacey’s portrait murals in Clarksdale Mississippi celebrate two of its many artistic heroes: Big Jack Johnson, the bluesman who’s best known for his raw electric guitar style, and Tennessee Williams, America’s greatest playwright and a master of the Southern Gothic genre.
Stacey founded one of Milwaukee’s top tourist destinations, Black Cat Alley, in 2016. After moving back home to her hometown of Memphis, she left public art behind to return to illustration and storytelling.
Before that, she was an illustrator and graphic designer for children’s storybooks, record/CD covers, websites and commercial goods.
Her LinkedIn Learning course, Storytelling for Designers, has been watched by over 100,000 students worldwide.
